Things are getting racy out there on the streets – with weekly/daily/hourly calls for Cameron to resign, a manhunt for George Osborne, service cuts galore, and the increase in daylight hours, we’re busier than ever before!

Come along to get involved in one of the campaigns we’re co-ordinating; we work with so many individuals and organisations, there’s bound to be something which tickles your fancy….

Pride Planning 2016

Gay Pride is no more! These days, corporate sponsored flotillas slither down the streets of gentrified London under the heading ‘Pride in London’, and we’ve had about enough. Tired of people sticking Barclays stickers on your parade? Get involved.

Stop the HIV Cuts

We’ve teamed up with the swell people behind the bludgeoning ‘Stop the HIV Cuts’ campaign – it does exactly what it says on the tin, whilst bringing in any number of parallel issues affecting similar services. Lost a service in your area? Get involved.

ACT UP for Love

“I’ve booked Trafalgar Square for June 28th,” said someone in ACT UP. This year, we will be back in the heart of the West End shouting out to all and sundry that we will never be silent again in the time honoured ACT UP way. Didn’t know Trafalgar Square was bookable? Get involved [neither did I…].

The naked protesters may have put their pants back on, but we’re not done on this campaign. After an astonishing turnout of protesters across eleven countries globally, we’re still riding the bandwagon of justice, building up to our next action in the #PharmaGreedKills cannon. Can’t access the medication you need? Get involved.

Fight AIDS, Not Migrants

Bridging the gap between cuts to services and government scapegoating on migration, the FANM Family is blossoming with links between Stop the Cuts, the Junior Nurses, anti-racism initiatives within the Muslim community, and more glitter than you can shake a stick at – with or without Theresa May’s head on top of it. Do you support migrants? Get involved.

ACT UP Showbiz

Gotta dance? Got rhythm? Make ’em laugh? This all singing, all satirising, all sequined, all out barmy branch of ACT UP brings the topics du jour to a venue near you via the time honoured medium of simulated orgy/pinatas. Haven’t found an excuse to wear your spandex hotpants? Get involved.

Aaaannnnndddd……. oh so much more.

Get involved 😉

ACT UP London is a diverse group of individuals united in anger and committed to direct action to end the HIV pandemic. Cuts to services, rising transmission levels, and the common mistaken belief that HIV was resolved in the 1980s results in what we call this current phase of the epidemic the ‘HIV Second Silence’.
